My goal for 2011 is to eat at twenty five new restaurants, and here is my progress:

Michigan Foodies 
We would like to invite you to participate in the LPVA Media Weekend. This event will be held the last weekend in April – April 24th & 25th. It will feature free tasting for participating media at LPVA wineries, private tastings & interviews and other media opportunities.
The centerpiece of the weekend will be a private reception with heavy appetizers and winemakers & representatives of Leelanau Peninsula wineries on Saturday, April 24 from 6-8 PM. This will be a chance to enjoy some of Leelanau’s excellent wine & food and to meet our winemakers and discuss new developments and other stories about Michigan’s booming wine industry.
Many of our lodging partners in Leelanau & Traverse City will be offering discounted or free rooms for participating media. We also would like to encourage local media to experience the trail from a visitor’s perspective as well and take advantage of the wine trail, local restaurants and lodging specials to “be a tourist in your own town.”
Once again we’re sorry to move this date once again but feel this we make for a much better experience to be had by all.
